Fashion Designer

One of India's foremost couturiers, Suneet Varma is a name that immortalizes glamour and timeless style. After getting his degree from Europe in 1986, he went on to work with renowned couturier Yves Saint Laurent in Paris. Meticulous craftsmanship, a strong design sensibility and an undying love for sartorial research, the Varma brand exudes fantasy, sexy sophistication and unadulterated feminity for the woman of today.

HARMEET BAJAJ

Educationist

Harmeet Bajaj has over 25 years experience in the lifestyle business. As Deputy Director Academics, she was part of the team that set up NIFT India. As Founder Chairperson of Asia’s first fashion communications programme at NIFT, she taught Marketing, Retail, Product Development and Fashion Forecasting. A well known commentator on fashion, she was also Marie Claire’s first fashion director.

KANIKA SINGAL

BUSINESS LEADER

Kanika is a multi-potentialite with interests in design, writing, and leadership. Having studied architecture at School of Planning & Architecture followed by, management at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and the Yale School of Management. Kanika has worked globally at McKinsey & Co, Levi’s Strauss & Co, CEB (now Gartner) in various leadership roles. She is an author - how to survive the boss (harper collins). She currently invests time in endeavours that allow her to explore her varied interests in a meaningful way.

Manish Arora is one of the most celebrated and inspiring contemporary designers in the fashion world today. He is known for his astute craftsmanship and unique play on colors, such as his trademark palette of pink and gold. Today, Manish sells his creations worldwide across prestigious stores such as Printemps, Joyce and Saks 5th Avenue. In 2011, Manish was appointed the Creative Director for Iconic French Fashion House 'Paco Robanne' where he designed two successful collections. His rich and colorful designs have been worn by international stars such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, MIA and Katy Perry. In 2014, the brand opened its 1 st flagship store in Paris. On 16th February 2016, Manish Arora was awarded the 'Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur'.

Rasna Bhasin

Rasna Bhasin, holds an undergraduate degree in Fashion Media and Communication from Pearl Academy and University of Nottingham Trent. A fashion enthusiast she has worked on both sides of the spectrum, with PR agencies and brands as well as Fashion Magazines, founding her niche in Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing for brands. She currently consults as the Digital Head for Harper's Bazaar Bride India, and also consults independent fashion and lifestyle brands on social media strategising and Digital presence. She's best described by her tagline, "A Good Sense of Distaste." An avid reader, and football freak, she's known for pointing out her opinions on her social media platforms including her website www.rasnabhasin.com

Priyanka Gill

Priyanka Gill, the Founder & CEO of POPxo, graduated with honours from Lady Sri Ram College in Delhi. Post her graduation, Priyanka went on to contribute to Vogue India, The Guardian, Travel + Leisure and Grazia.in. She was a Contributing Editor to Harper’s Bazaar India and guest-edited the India special issue of the Mayfair Times magazine in June 2013. Besides her work with POPxo, Priyanka extends time and support to several charities and also works with early stage tech start-ups and food concepts, such as Bea’s of Bloomsbury, Yieldify and Raptor Supplies, as an investor, board member and/or advisor.

Ayushi Gudwani

Ayushi is the Founder & CEO of Fable Street, a premium women's office wear brand, offering high quality work wear with tailored fits for professional women. Prior to starting her entrepreneurship journey, Ayushi has worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. for more than 7 years. She has always been excited about businesses and thematic areas which involve large scale impact. She also works very closely with various Health agencies and Foundations in India to drive large healthcare initiatives across the country. Ayushi is a silver medalist from IIM Calcutta and Electronics engineer from NSIT. Ayushi built FableStreet to address unmet need of professional women - quality, style and fits and, is now on a journey to merge Fashion and Business to build a scaleable, premium work wear brand.

Guneet Kaur

Guneet Kaur is presently the Director of Operations and Project Management at the New Delhi based Creative Agency, Second Floor Studio by Punit Jasuja. Second Floor Studio work ranges from styling, weddings, corporate events, residential and commercial interior design to their own concept store located in Shahpur Jat. Ms. Babbar started out at an intern at Second Floor Studio and in the five years has worked up the ladder. She has studied commerce with majors in Economics and Mathematics from Miranda House, and has a degree in Interior Design and Architecture.

Edward Lalrempuia

Edward Lalrempuia is a fashion consultant and stylist, who has been an integral part of the Indian fashion industry for the last 12 years. During that time he has worked with the country's best-known fashion magazines, styled editorials and campaigns, bollywood actors and worked with talent from across the globe. Edward graduated from NIFT, New Delhi in 2005. Post graduation, he worked as a fashion stylist with ELLE India, and then Vogue. Currently he is the Fashion Director at Harper’s Bazaar India, Creative Director at www.perniaspopupshop.com His portfolio of work includes his work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, brands like L’oreal, Pantene, Lakme, Raymond and Pepsi

Rahul Mishra

Rahul Mishra is a fashion designer and champion of slow fashion with traditional Indian textiles – hand woven, hand embroidered, hand crafted - with a universal context and retails across top end fashion stores globally. Rahul Mishra showcases his ready-to-wear line in the official calendar of Paris Fashion Week, and his couture collection at India Couture Week. In a very short span he has attracted the admiration from fashion’s most influential journalists. International Fashion Editor of Vogue, Suzy Menkes, an avid follower of his work, rates him a “national treasure”. Amongst his many accolades, he was recently featured in GQ’s Power list of ‘50 Most Influential Indians’ and is also on the global influential list ‘BoF 500’.

Vivek Ramabhadran

Vivek Ramabhadran is a business leader and currently the Vice-President for Asia South Region for Swarovski Professional. He used to be the managing director of India operations, prior to which he was a business consultant with McKinsey & Company with a focus on serving clients in the consumer goods space across a range of strategic and organizational topics, across Middle East, Europe and Africa regions. Vivek holds a Bachelors in Engineering from IIT Madras, a Masters in Manufacturing from the University of Texas-Austin, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Shefalee Vasudev

Shefalee Vasudev, the author of Powder Room, The Untold Story of Indian Fashion is a fashion journalist. The founding editor of Marie Claire India, Shefalee has also worked with Cosmopolitan, India Today, The Indian Express and most recently with Mint as its fashion editor. She reports on the intersections fashion and style make with society, relationships, urban living and other aspects of popular culture. India’s crafts sector, textiles and artisanal traditions and the evolution of contemporary brands sit at the core of Shefalee’s work.
